Signature Work Project Overview
In 1929, Hubble discovered the expansion of the universe and found a relationship between recession speeds of galaxies and their distances. This relationship is now called Hubble’s law, and the fundamental expansion rate of the universe is defined by Hubble’s parameter. The value of Hubble’s parameter has been a subject of long and fierce controversy. Scientists have used different ways to measure it. Here, we consider the use of gravitational lensing to determine Hubble’s parameter
