This paper study whether listed firms’ innovation network exists in China. In this study, we use patent data mainly from Google Patent and check it with other sources. I employ statistics and social network analysis (SNA) method to conduct data analysis. I find that China have a growing patent network from 1996 to 2015 with different size and patterns in various industries. I not only made descriptive statistics of listed companies’ cooperation patents, but also made yearly visualization of the cooperation situation. This is the first time to show the whole picture of firms’ patent network in the world. This paper is a base for a new field to understand the influence of patent network on firms’ performance and factors that encourage cooperation between firms.
