The presented paper aims at coordinating and managing the fieldwork, which investigates the reasons of COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy among non-communicable disease patients in China, and the corresponding governmental approaches to promote vaccination through quantitative questionnaires and qualitative interviews.
The COVID-19 vaccine is believed to be a powerful tool for reducing the COVID-19 infection risks on the individual level, and controlling the outbreak on the public health level. However, the vaccination rate among the non-communicable disease patients remains moderate in China. Patients have multiple reasons for their vaccine hesitancy, and the government is actively proposing different incentive policies to promote vaccination.
Therefore, the fieldwork uses quantitative questionnaires and qualitative interviews to systematically investigate the reasons and the governmental approaches of COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy. The presented paper mainly focuses on designing and developing the coordination and management aspects of the fieldwork.
