| We developed a machine learning approach for early leprosy detection and operational classification using machine learning, achieving 73.23% accuracy in skin lesion classification and 87.24% accuracy in operational classification. Our user-friendly web application, Lepro Detect, allows for easy access to classification reports. This study highlights the potential of deep learning in leprosy detection and can improve early treatment in resource-limited areas. Future work should focus on larger, diverse datasets to enhance model performance. |
