| This research project aims to use network analysis to reduce silos in philosophy, provide broader contexts for philosophical ideas, and discover underrepresented thinkers and latent connections. Two case studies are conducted: the first explores the representation of women philosophers in the digital age, and the second examines connections between philosophical ideas and meanings through early modern correspondences. These case studies demonstrate the potential of digital humanities methods in facilitating historical studies of philosophy and contribute to a comprehensive understanding of the knowledge landscape of the field. The findings emphasize the need to reshape the narrative surrounding marginalization and exclusion in philosophy and showcase connections at scale in philosophical discussions. |
