Signature Work Project Overview
Lotus in the Mirror is a 3D narrative-based puzzle platformer game that uses mirrors both as the core puzzle-solving and platformer mechanic and a critical metaphor within the narrative. Based on Dream of the Red Chamber, the renowned Chinese classic literature, the game aims to engage players in puzzle-solving while introducing them to the extraordinary novel’s world through memories of the character Caltrop, or Xiangling. The game is developed with the Unity Engine, and will be published on Windows/Mac.
My indivisual contribution lies in the fields of project management and design. Specifically, I am the project manager who produces the plan, assigns tasks, and controls the production flow; meantime, I did the design of the gameplay, levels, and narratives within the project.
