The relationships among expectation, memory, and experience of pain are widely researched area through various kinds of pain and different dimension to describe the pain. An accurate report on the quantitative and qualitative features of pain experience is vital to effective pain management, especially for recurrent pain. Menstrual pain is a typical recurrent pain that impact the life quality of a wide population in females. But it is not an often-studied pain in the model of recurrent pain. This research aims to better understand the interaction among expectation, experience, and memory of menstrual pain, and the impacts of menstrual pain in the long term.
