This project delves into the exploration and defense of polyamory as a morally permissible and viable relationship model. Spanning seven sections, the endeavor begins by establishing the moral permissibility of polyamory, emphasizing the importance of sincerity in informed, diverse, and respectful choices. Building upon Luke Brunning’s framework, the project systematically addresses and dismantles six objections to polyamory, ranging from issues of attachment development to concerns about familial structures and childcare. Two pivotal virtues, non-possessiveness and honesty, emerge as inherent strengths of polyamorous relationships, challenging conventional notions of monogamous superiority.
