Signature Work Project Overview

Since the outbreak of global epidemic of COVID-19 in early 2020, we have suffered massive losses of life and property all over the world. In addition, India is considered to be one of the countries with the most challenging domestic outbreaks. In order to examine the growth of confirmed cases in India and control the pandemic, we tried to find the best combination of some potential intervention policies based on our SEIARD (Susceptible-Exposed-Infected-Asymptomatic-Recovered-Death) model. In addition, we implemented a machine learning model to evaluate the performance of the intervention policies currently adopted by the Indian government. Then, by comparing the cost factors of our plan and the government plan, we will show some advantages of our proposed plan. Finally, the prediction results of 2019 coronavirus disease model provide a novel method for predicting the future trend of COVID-19 virus, which can be used as an example for other researchers.
