| This paper probes into rural construction and revitalization in China, with a focus on the case study of Yuanqian Village, in terms of how it manages to transform from a village on the verge of demolition, to a place where its living environment, traditional culture, and local economy have been rejuvenated, with the participation of local stakeholders. The paper discusses the significance of utilizing joint forces generated by the collaborative governance, and the importance of building rural projects in line with local contexts in the process of rural construction and revitalization, so as to facilitate the effectiveness of rural governance, and the further development of the rural areas. |
