The recent coronavirus outbreak has significantly impacted China’s grocery industry, leading to substantial financial losses for many major supermarket companies. Given this challenge, it is crucial to optimize the warehouse distribution technique. This paper provides a comprehensive analysis of China’s supermarket industry, with a specific focus on the listed firms. It examines the primary business distribution, competitiveness, and operating performance of each listed company. The majority of grocery companies listed are experiencing losses or declining profits. This article offers recommendations for the warehouse center distribution strategy of Chinese grocery enterprises listed on the stock market through the development of a model. This work develops a multi-constraint model ranging from simple to complicated under the assumption that demand is unpredictable. It explores both single shipment and multiple shipment strategies, using maximum likelihood estimation and standard Poisson regression to predict demand. This paper’s research provides guidance for optimizing the management of listed grocery chains in China.
