With the growth of the e-commerce industry and the emergence of new digital marketing strategies in China, compulsive buying has become a significant concern for both consumers and commercial businesses. With the goal of providing insights and recommendations for ethical marketing techniques by E-commerce companies, this signature work project identifies intrinsic and extrinsic factors that trigger compulsive buying behaviors and offers digital design principles that eliminate the erosion of informed customer decision-making processes.
