Signature Work Project Overview

Nonlinear Chaotic Systems are both hard and ubiquitous in nature and thus widely studied by different sciences. In recent years, machine learning techniques has been applied to learn, model, and predict nonlinear chaotic systems. In this Signature Work project, we will focus on a specific machine learning algorithm called Reservoir Computing, which uses a high-dimensional dynamical system to learn the object system. By conducting experiments on classical models and their variations, we intend to explain why the model works, explore the properties of the model ,and modify the model for better performance.
