| This study investigates how the U.S.-China Trade War impacts American citizens, focusing on Nebraskan soybean farmers. The research draws from a Qualtrics survey of 3,060 respondents and ethnographic interviews with soybean farmers in Nebraska to identify significant factors influencing American voters’ opinions on U.S.-China trade policy. The study examines the U.S.-China trade relationship from 2016 to 2022, during the U.S.-China Trade War, specifically focusing on U.S. agricultural exports to China, particularly Nebraska soybean exports. |
