| “The study of mixing incompressible fluids is of great significance in practice and the result could be applied to various scientific fields. The transport partial differential equation could describe the simplest case of mixing fluids. The aim of this paper is to find a simple and periodic solution, which achieves the exponential mixing rate. In particular, we would analyze the performance of alternatively horizontal and vertical shear flows in a wedge shape. The numerical analysis on the effects of three factors: speed of flows, quantity of fluid, and initial state of mixing system would be provided, the drawbacks and potential improvement of the wedge flows would also be discussed.” |
