Death has been a culturally taboo word in the social context of China, especially confronting death in the face of loss has been one of the most central philosophical topics in China. The basis for the creative outcome will lie in this theory and explore the many facets of death and the reconstruction of narrative in it. By telling the life story of my grandfather and how his death impacts my family in this project, I intend to reexamine the discrepancy between death and reality and provide my own reflection.
