| In this project, we aimed to investigate the ESC effect in adulthood, especially in the age range in which people start early aging in cognitive functions. A total number of 44 participants took part in this study, with 21 older participants and 23 younger participants. They completed a motor planning task named “ESC Rotation task” and a cognitive task named “Go/NoGo”. We found that ESC effect, general cognitive functions, and inhibitory ability influence each other. We also found that age influence physical constraints, ESC effect, general cognitive functions. Another research finding of the current study is that education is associated with ESC effect, general cognitive functions, and inhibitory functions. |
