“Can we always see social media as a harmless entertainment medium or tool?”

What kind of impact does social media have on our value? The purpose of this product is to discover the enigma of social media addiction and its consequences on human behavior. This product will describe the composition of Glitch art and the connection between this art form and social media addiction.

The main focus of the research is “Tiktok”. The concept of social media functionality and the core of what social media is used to engage
users will be explained. Meanwhile, the project will analyze how social media functions are implemented in real life through different types of short videos installation. Including the algorithms used to exploit human weaknesses from a biological and psychological point of
view. In addition, the analysis will examine the various “side effects” of social media for users. The methodology of the study is based on a literature review and field studies, including interviews and surveys.
